Rather surprisingly went into a Omega AD the other weekend & they had one

Brand new - so I'm guessing it's been sitting around for a few years. Was very surprised. Went in to look at the new constellation & mentioned I'd liked this back in day & - we have one in stock! Most surprised! & No it didn't come home with me, never mak

Manual winding when the entire history of Constellation . . .

. . . is filled with automatics? An automatic movement is as emblematic of the Constellation line as manual winding is of the Railmaster. Lack of a seconds hand is another matter altogether. Best, Art

Thanks for the insightful pictures and report! 🙏🏻

Honestly, my assumptions behind the lines seeing and reading all of the sales write-ups of Fratello, Monochrom etc., became true with your (and Quattro’s) live post here! It could have become a home-run for Omega, given the fantastic heritage of pan-pie a

Some live shots of Omega’s new Constellation Observatory Collection . . .

The term 'chronometer' means 'time measure'. How does a Constellation owner measure time accurately against a reference . . .

. . . without a seconds hand? My sense is that a chronometer without a seconds hand is not technically an oxymoron but is functionally. Realistically, Art

The size should be 36-37 mm and thickness below 11 mm.

I assume this will replace the globemaster. The dial is very similar especially the star. The silver dial with rose gold looks a bit weird...I think it will look better had they use yellow gold hands and markers. And the price...oh my...10K for two hander

The new Omega Constellation Observatory collection

Here's a pictorial overview of the newly released Omega Observatory Collection . Case dimensions: 39,4 x 12.23 x 47.2 mm Dial : pie-pan dial with 8 stamped grooves on opaline dodecagonal facets (except black model in polished ceramic). Faceted and polishe

Agree

Especially Moonswatch 🙄…they have some great things going on too. I would: 1. Update the Constellation line. Modernize it. 2. Deal with what is an increasingly vague difference between Seamaster 300 and PO. 3. Define, limit and streamline Speedmaster. 4.
